  • I am a worthwhile person.

  • I do not deserve to have a partner be unfaithful to me.
  • I do not deserve to be used or taken for granted.
  • I do not hate anyone, including my partner, who cheated on me, or the person with whom he cheated. Hating them would only hurt me.
  • If my partner gave valid reasons for the infidelity, and there is something I can do to make those things better, I will do so.
  • Even if my partner gave valid reasons for his infidelity, he is still responsible for his own actions–IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT HE CHEATED!
  • I choose to forgive my partner and the person with whom he cheated–not for them, but for my own sake.

  • I do not hate anyone, including the person who is using me and his partner.
  • I choose to forgive everyone who has hurt me–not for them, but for my own sake.
  • I do not deserve to be used and taken for granted.
  • I deserved to be respected, appreciated, and loved for who I am.
  • I deserve to be the only woman in the life of the one I love.
  • I do not deserve to be blamed for another person’s infidelity.
  • I assume responsibility for my own actions, and I am sorry for any pain my actions might have caused.
  • I affirm that being in a relationship with someone who is committed to someone other than me is harmful to me and to all those involved.
  • I affirm that ending a relationship with someone who is committed to someone other than me will be painful, but it will be much less painful than continuing the relationship.
  • I will no longer allow myself to believe the empty promises and lies of someone who says he loves me, but continues to stay committed to someone else.
  • In determining what to do with regard to my relationship, I will do what is best for me–not what he wants me to do.
  • After ending my relationship with this man, I will not allow myself to be used and treated in this manner ever again, because I deserve better.

  • I am a worthwhile person.
  • I am not damaged goods.
  • I have made mistakes, but so does everyone else.
  • I have sinned, but so has everyone else.
  • I asked for forgiveness of my sins, so I am forgiven.
  • I am a loving, caring person.
  • I do not enjoy other people’s pain.
  • I assume responsibility for my own actions, and I am sorry for any pain my actions might have caused.
  • I do not have to continue to cheat, and I affirm that I can and will resist temptations.
  • I am strong.
  • I am much more than my physical body.
  • I care more for myself and for my family than to continue to use my body for things that cause pain to others, regardless of how much physical pleasure I might get from it.
  • In ending a relationship with the other woman, I might hurt her, but continuing the relationship would be much more painful to her in the long run, so I will end it.
  • In ending my relationship with the other woman, I know that it might cause me pain, but as I created this pain by my own bad  choices, I am willing to endure this pain to make things right.
